An international event encouraging people to look at art slowly. The Ateneum Art Museum invites people to spend time relaxing and enjoying art – art always has time for you. Admission is included in the museum entrance fee or with a Museum Card.

Enjoy a multi-sensory experience: Arja improvises on kanteles in the gallery 15, Stories of Finnish Art exhibition, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Look at works of art while enjoying improvised kantele music.

Take your time: The Ateneum has chosen six works from the Stories of Finnish Art exhibition, and has added seats next to them for quiet viewing. Choose a work and look at it for 5 to 10 minutes, slowly and in silence.

Share your experiences: A free-form discussion on experiencing art, whether through savouring it slowly or with the accompaniment of flowing kantele music, on the hour at 12:00, 13:00 and 14:00. Ateneum’s workshop space, second floor. In Finnish.
